The Clayton Police Department is located next door to the Clayton Town Hall.

The department is headed by Chief Thomas Remender, and his staff consists of a team of experienced reserve officers. The department provides law enforcement to the Town of Clayton and works in conjuction with other area law enforcement agencies.  The department will provide courtesy house checks for residents that will be away.
